A Mystic's Approach to Re-Tuning the Body, Heart, and Mind
with Murshid Tansen Philip O'Donohoe
Three Sundays: March 1, 8, 15
Dear Friends,
Greetings from the heart. I am really looking forward to welcoming you to A Mystic’s Approach to Re-Tuning, Heart and Mind.
Mysticism is essentially knowing through the breath. For a mystic the subtle energy within the breath is the key to all aspects of the inner and outer life. Our journey together will begin with this awareness. Each of us has taken our whole lives to be where we are in this moment in space. This is no accident.
In these few short sessions my intention is to expand and deepen our Awareness of Reality through various spiritual techniques that I have found to be effective during my own journey. It is not simply that we engage with spiritual practices it is how fully we can embody these practices. It’s not simply what we experience, it’s how we experience it that counts.
Our practices will be drawn from the Sufi, Yogic, Tantric, Buddhist and Christian traditions. They will be mostly simple and accessible techniques using breath, mantra, mudra, meditation, symbols, heart awareness and concentration practices.
Our method will be to awaken, cultivate and expand our awareness through our own experiential wisdom.
Many Blessings,
Tansen
